Competition: Plating & Pics

We have absolutely loved seeing all the pictures of your plated-up Dish meals on social media. From this week, we're giving away a meal-for-four per week to the best-looking plate of food (or the best pic). To enter, all you need to do is tag our social media account (we're on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), with the hashtag #howdoyoudish and we’ll pick the winner next Sunday. We can’t wait to see what you put together!

Social Distancing?

We should have been catering for a large event at UCT on Monday, not to mention an entire week of hospitality at the Absa Cape Epic. Event cancellations are coming at us faster than a cricket ball bowled by Kagiso Rabada (assuming the India ODI series hadn't been cancelled).

Famous for our Tuesday Specials, from this week, we are offering them every day of the week. You can get a daily dinner-for-four, available as a delivery or collection. The meal (for four) is priced at R250, and we've reduced the delivery charge to R25.Social distancing is really important for 'flattening the curve'. Collection is at Dish Food & Social (cnr Lower Scott & Lugard St, Observatory) from 2.00pm until 5.00pm. Delivery is between 3.00pm and 7.00pm (unfortunately, a time cannot be specified). We deliver in the greater Cape Town area, within a radius of roughly 20km from Observatory.

Tuesday Specials

Take Tuesdays off this winter, with our weekly dinner-for-four special offer. The menu varies throughout winter, but it's headlined by the Dish Butter Chicken with rice and rotis for just R220 (for 4).You place your order by 10.00 am every Tuesday, or by 3.00 pm the day before if you need a delivery (extra charges apply), and collect at your preferred collection point.
  • Klooftique (87 Kloof Street, Gardens): 4.00 to 6.00pm on Tuesday
  • Wine Concepts (next to Barristers, Main Street, Newlands): 2.00 to 4.00pm on Tuesday

  • Delivery (R35 additional cost) is between 3.00 and 7.00 pm (unfortunately, a time cannot be specified). Saturday/Weekend meals are delivered on Saturday, between 2.00 and 6.00pm
