We're giving our team a well-earned rest, and we think that's worth celebrating.
As parents, we survived our share of youth protests. Mostly food-related. We pre-emptively tackled this by developing our children's palates from birth, which worked beautifully until they started recognising words like ‘sushi’ and ‘truffle’ on restaurant menus.
Bob Dylan had it right: ‘Your sons and your daughters are beyond your command.’
Youth Day marks a moment when young people changed the course of a nation. In our little corner of it, we're very grateful for the ones who show up every day and make really good food.
